Who We Are
Sphinx Eye Care was inspired by our vision to become something more. We aim to offer the highest quality eye care possible and match that with luxury brands and styles for your entire family.
Dr. Yasmin El-Hag
Optometrist & Owner
Dr. Yasmin El-Hag grew up in Plano, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Dallas where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors. She pursued her optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry and graduated in 2018 with Summa Cum Laude Honors and was part of the Beta Sigma Kappa optometric honor society.
Dr. El-Hag is a certified Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She completed her externships at Cedar Springs Community Eye Clinic in Dallas, Space Center Eye Associates and Baylor Medical Hospital in Houston. She has had extensive training in primary care optometry, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, and specialty contact lenses. She practiced in New York for 2+ years after graduation and is excited to be back in her hometown, Plano.
Outside of the office, Dr. El-Hag enjoys photography, traveling, playing basketball, and spending time with family and friends.
